New Entry, an initiative of Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, works locally, regionally, and across the country to strengthen local food systems by supporting new farmers. They serve and collaborate with the people, communities, and organizations in Massachusetts, the Northeast, and beyond!

Practicum in Sustainable Agriculture
Participants will gain hands-on experience in sustainable farming practices. This hands-on course will cover soil health, greenhouse management, plant health, disease management and much more! This practicum isn't just about planting seeds – it's about planting the seeds of your future!

Harvest Systems & Wash/Pack Tour @ New Entry
Join New Entry's Leah Jurman for a tour of their shared wash/pack facility serving 12 incubator farms. Learn about efficient, food-safe harvest systems including an Amish bin washer and explore their CQP-certified SOPs and Food Safety Plan.
